New version 6.7.1.58 has big problems -- how to go back?

I upgraded from a 2018 version of IDrive to the current 6.7.1.58. Now I have big problems. In the Continuous protection backup, the program is backing up files that I did not designate and is NOT backing up the files I chose. In Scheduled Backup, it says one or more of my important files cannot be found.

IDrive customer service has responded slowly and cryptically. I would like to go back to a previous version of the app and I don't have an earlier setup file at Downloads or elsewhere. Can someone help me out?

I have just began my paid account journey with IDrive and v6.7.1.58.  It has been uneven at best.  I uploaded about 2.5TB over the course of 31 days and just finally got IDrive backup to say completed.  But then it goes goes to sync'ing 372961 files for about 1 hour and then hangs on 1 second to complete.  It will stay that way for hours.

I've created a test directly on the PC and it will not sync to the cloud and directories created in the cloud won't sync down to the Win10 PC.  Sync is enabled and says it is sync'ing but I don't see that happening, in many directories, including the test directories with test files.

I'm new to this platform but have been with Dropbox paid for many years.  Dropbox is wonderful and sync's files within seconds.  Demo'ed Sync.com also on a paid account and it was quite solid.  Sync is twie the cost of Dropbox and Dropbox is twice the cost of IDrive.  Maybe that is the key.  But I shall continue to fiddle with IDrive as I have about 11 months to go.  I'll learn more about it and try the tips gleaned from Steve's forum and maybe IDrive will improve their software and get up to the dependability level of DB and Sync.

That's pretty old now Mike. The latest is 6.7.4.44

Not sayin' it'll fix your problems - might give you more - but different and more interesting ones wink

No plans to go back to software that old...much to try to figure out as to syncing and back up issues first.

Sync said it just updated another 372,821 files with 1 second left, that has been showing for 30 minutes now.  Deja Vu.

Poking around and still reading on options and how to approach some dependable resolution...

Oppsie Steve, I should have read your suggestion more closely.

6.7.4.44 was released today...I shall try it out after looking at the release notes for the past several releases.  Not sure how I got 7.7.1.58 as I DL'ed it when I got the paid account.  Grrr...
