Thanks, Steve! Very helpful. Whew! I was afraid to look. Account is current. Oh, and has anyone tried manually installing just the M1 apps to see if it works without the *001 bits? Perhaps they're only for specialized functions. I'm wondering if it's worth a try. I suppose my avoidance of Rosetta is silly. It started as just something I was wanting to try, and now it's probably more bother than it's worth.

Topic: Unsure user. M1 / AS. Do old backups expire?

Message: Hi. I've been using Drive for a while. My main Mac died and I'm planning to restore to my new M1 Mac.FYI, I noticed that all the apps inside the .pkg installer are Universal (compiled to run natively on M1) but the installer is marked as being Intel only. So it won't install on my mac (unless I install Rosetta 2, which I'm avoiding). I noticed that only the IDrive\*001\ binaries are not M1/AS - native yet. So FYI, it looks like they're close to native, as of version 3.5.9.27 Release of 06_09_2021.Also, I have a sinking feeling I have waited too long to do the restore. Do old files expire if there's no new version of the file? I can't remember. Hope not!!! I have used it on another Mac temporarily to restore a few things and I did run some backups, but it's a different machine - different name.
