<description>Topic: Using IDrive to Create a Larger System Disk

Message: I need to increase the size of the System/Programs disk on a PC from the original size, a 128 GB Crucial CT128M550 SSD, to a 1 TB Crucial MX500 SSD?I have the System disk backed up on IDrive. Can I simply format the new disk to NTFS and use the Restore feature or does it need to be properly partitioned to function as the System/Boot drive? In other words, will Restore create the partitions in the restoration process?Thanksbaumgrenze
