Hi.

If I clone my drive to IDrive, do I have to clone it to a local drive too? I can't find an option of just sending an HD clone upto IDrive without having to do a local one too which I don't need to do.

I've never used it, but from what I can gather, you have to make a local image first, then upload it to IDrive.

I don't usually have the luxury of that much "free" space!

Ok well thanks for confirming. Need to get a spare HD now which I was hoping not to do.

Ok so I have a spare HD and it seems to have cloned successfully so will it now automatically back that up to IDrive cloud or do I have to tell it to?

It's not clear to me if it automatically sets up a backup schedule for you. If not, I guess you have to manually set up a task in IDrive to backup the drive you created the image on.
