Backing up Apps and Appdata from tablets
My laptops are backing up my application data fine; however, my tablets seem only to back up photos/videos/music/docs. I really need those app data if the tablets go down.

I've not tried the mobile apps myself. The reviews on Play Store for the Android version suggest its somewhat buggy and lacking.
Google's own backup will protect your app data.
Not sure about iOS, don't have any experience with Apple devices.
