Struggling to use IDrive

Hi,

IDrive looks good, but the documentation is sparse.

By trial-and-error, I can add some files to the cloud. But I don't know how to delete files from one laptop, and see them automatically deleted on my other laptop.

Hoping for help here.

Thanks

Re: Struggling to use IDrive

This only happens if you enable IDrive Sync on both computers, and only includes files placed in the C:\Users\-profile-\IDrive-Sync folder.

Thanks for the info.

I don't actually plan to use sync. I was only trying an experiment with a few files smile

At the moment, I'm using IDrive to move my data folders from my old Asus to my new Dell. After that, IDrive will be my offsite backup.

I will then delete the data files from the Asus to free up space, and give it to my grandchildren when they visit here.

Thanks
