"View previous versions" is not available for some files

I want to restore a file, but versioning is not available. Why is that?

I have restored files previously using versioning.

I don't have FOLDER versioning. I'm not sure why. But in this case it's a FILE that I want to restore.

It's not possible that the file never changes. It's for Anki (the spaced repetition "flash card" program). So the live file on my laptop can change every 10-20 seconds.

I would be grateful for any advice.

Anything in the logs about why the file may be getting skipped?

Is the date of the file newer than the version in your IDrive account?
