IDrive Pricing Model

I am trying to figure out how the pricing works.  I can see Year 1 pricing.  I can see that there are offers for 50% off the 2nd year.  I assume this means you sign up for 2 years up front.  What happens in the 3rd year?  Or if you just sign up for one year, what kind of pricing can be expected in Year 2?

I got approximately 50% discount when I upgraded from a legacy account last December. I only signed up for 1 year.

I just looked at my Billing Information on the IDrive website and my renewal price is slightly less than double that amount.
