I'm assuming this is the Windows version.
Have you tried stopping all the IDrive processes from Task Manager before installing the new version?
Do you have any anti-virus or anti-malware software that may be locking files?
If that doesn't help, maybe boot into safe mode to uninstall the current version, then boot normally and try installing again.
